Mel oversees fund-raising for the Carnesecca Arena and
strategizes ways to engage corporations, alumni and friends to meet
the $25-30 million goal. The campaign will be announced this
fall at the beginning of the basketball season.
He previously worked at PepsiCo, the NBA League Office, and the
NBR Players Association. He holds a B.S. in marketing from
St. John’s University, a Career Planning Certificate from New York
University and a B.A. in education from Fordham University.
