Endowed Scholarship Donors Meet the Students Whose Lives
They've Changed
Donors of endowed scholarships enjoyed an opportunity to meet and
become acquainted with the students who benefit from their
generosity at the Endowed Scholarship Donor Brunch on Sunday, April
13. 95 donors and scholarship recipients came together in the
Mattone Atrium of St. John’s School of Law to acknowledge each
other and reflect on their mutual love for and commitment to St.
John’s University.

Scholarship Receptions Held for Students
Students who received endowment dollars to assist with their
tuitions during the 2007-2008 academic year attended student
scholarship receptions on November 13 and November 15 on the Staten
Island and Queens campuses. The receptions served to educate
students about the origins of their scholarship dollars and foster
in them a sense of gratitude for their donors.

Getting to Say Thanks
In April 2007, St. John’s held the Inaugural Scholarship Donor
Reception where students had the opportunity to meet their
benefactors face-to-face. Both students and donors were
