The Howe Scholarship Endowment was established in 1999 in memory
of insurance executive Robert E. Howe. Funding for the
Endowment was raised initially through gifts from corporate
sponsors and friends. Since 2004, the endowment has continued to
grow, thanks primarily to the proceeds from this popular golf
tournament.
