Week Three

This past week has been pretty ordinary.  Class over here hasn’t changed one bit, and by that I mean I still enjoy going to class.  But, as I said before, this week seemed to be mostly routine.  The person who takes the students on tours of the city was sick, so all of the tours that had been planned for this week have been postponed until next week.

The highlight of this week came when some friends and I went on a tour of the Vatican Museum.   The most interesting and memorable part of this tour was our visit to the Sistine Chapel, which was really amazing.  Unfortunately, there were many restrictions on taking pictures because most of the tour consisted of viewing priceless paintings that could be damaged by constant flash photography.

I am really looking forward to my trip to Florence this weekend, which should be fun.  I can’t wait to experience the sights and sounds of that historic city!
