As we celebrate Founder’s Week 2009, we allow God’s love to transform us, living lives of virtue, working zealously to heal hearts and to alleviate poverty, This will reconcile individuals, families, communities, and create peace in the world. Founder’s Week 2009 urges the St. John’s community to become the transformers needed in the 21st century.

In an increasingly shrinking global community, and by virtue of the fact that you attend a university that strives to promote peaceful solutions to issues of poverty and injustice and to foster social responsibility, describe how you foresee using your talents to transform yourself, your peers, your environment, your industry, or all of the aforementioned into a positive, creative catalyst for justice and peace. How will you spend the talents you have?
