Dr. Scott Mesh received his B.A. with honors in Psychology from
the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology
from St. John’s University. He is currently Founder and Co-Director
of Los Ninos Services, an organization that provides home-based
early intervention and pre-school special education services in New
York City and Westchester County. Los Niños serves 1,500 children a
year and has won a number of “Best Company to Work For”
Awards.
Mesh is Co-Founder of APAGS (the American Psychological Association
of Graduate Students), now a 40,000 member unit of the American
Psychological Association. He developed a specialization in the
assessment of young Spanish-speaking children with autism and other
developmental delays and disorders. He is co-author of A
Practical Guide to Early Childhood Assessment: Conducting
Developmental and Psychological Evaluations in the Early
Intervention Program with Dr. Joanne Loeb. He co- created the
Young Child Expo and Conference in 2003. The conference, now in its
10th year attracts 1,000 attendees from around the world.
