Not only did alumni give students the benefit of their experiences by speaking candidly with them but they also conducted mock interviews with two student volunteers to prepare them for the challenges of the interview process. One student also demonstrated the use of an e-portfolio (an electronic portfolio that contains the digital equivalent of a resume and sample work that demonstrates skills in a particular field) which The School of Education has implemented in its curriculum, during her interview scenario.

In addition to career advice, keynote speaker Fodera emphasized the importance of rethinking societal views of success. He advised students to excel in their careers and invest in values that would lead to fulfilling lives.

Sponsored by The School of Education and the Office of Institutional Advancement, these two events were a tremendous success, benefiting both students and alumni.
