Mike Repole ’91SVC is certainly not a fair-weather fan of the
Red Storm. This outstanding alumnus and former Co-founder and
President of Vitaminwater is one of St. John’s University’s most
generous donors and a long-time supporter of the Johnnies. He
shared his thoughts on this year’s team with Bloomberg Television during
a March 9 news broadcast.
The segment focused on how ticket prices for the
2011 BIG EAST Tournament had risen substantially compared to
past years, largely due to the success of the Red Storm. Repole
comments on how energized the fan base has become and what the
team’s resurgence means to long-time fans.
