Spending time outdoors with friends is one of the nicest
ways to enjoy a summer afternoon, and that’s especially true if
those friends are fellow alumni from St. John’s University.
Anticipating the excitement of watching thoroughbred racing from
their own private area while enjoying unlimited barbeque food, over
60 alumni and friends came out to historic Monmouth Park Racetrack
for what has become one of St. John’s most popular seasonal events
for New Jersey alumni.

“Today was a beautiful, fun-filled day at Monmouth Park with our
St. John’s alumni and friends,” said Mark Andrews, Associate
Director, Office of Alumni Relations. “It’s important that we keep
our alumni chapters engaged, and I thank the alumni for their
support of this annual event. I’m really looking forward to
continued interaction with our New Jersey alumni, and to taking
part in similar events in the future.”
