The staff of the
Office of Alumni Relations is committed to keeping alumni and
friends informed about special University events, benefits and
news. In September, we asked:
Would
you be as likely to respond to an event if your invitation was sent
to you electronically instead of regular mail?
The results of
this poll are depicted to the right. As you can see, 85
percent of alumni said they would be as likely to respond to an
electronic invitation as they would a mailed or hard-copy version,
while only 15 percent say they would not. The staff of the
Office of Alumni Relations is currently exploring the most
effective way to get event information and invitations to our
alumni by using e-mail and by making available an online
registration portal. Please watch for information about this
effort in the near future.
