No. 21/20 St. John's Topped By USF, 9-2, In Series Finale

The University of South Florida plated six runs in the ninth to
defeat the No. 21/20 St. John's baseball team, 9-2. Daniel
Benedetti was 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, while Tim Morris and
Gino Matias had a hit and an RBI apiece to pace St. John's (39-11,
18-6). Charles Cleveland was 5-for-5, while Joey Angelberger had
two hits and three RBI to lead USF (26-24, 11-13). USF starter
Derrick Stultz (4-3) scattered eight hits and struck out six in a
complete game effort.
