St. John's University has a proud heritage of academic and
athletic excellence. We have provided thousands of student-athletes
the opportunity to compete at the highest levels in the classroom
and on the playing field. Thanks in large part to the efforts of
the Red-White Club, the St. John's University basketball tradition
has and will continue to evolve well into the next
millennium.
In 1983, the Red-White Club was established to help support the
scholarship and program costs for the University's men's basketball
program. In addition, this organization serves as an arm of the
Athletic Department by sponsoring many events, including
hospitality at all home games, a Tip-Off Dinner prior to the
season, and several select away game trips.
