B. Confidentiality
Cases involving discrimination and/or sexual harassment are particularly sensitive and demand special attention to issues of confidentiality. Dissemination of information relating to the case should be limited to individuals who have a legitimate need to know or who have information. Every effort should be made to protect members of the University Community so that they may use the discrimination and sexual harassment complaint procedures without fear of reprisal or retaliatory action. Retaliation against anyone who makes a complaint or participates in the complaint process is prohibited.
