Fraternities and Sororities
Eligibility for consideration for fraternity/sorority membership is
defined as:
- A student is eligible to participate in recruitment
activities if they are a full-time undergraduate student (minimum
of 12 credits) and in good academic standing.
- On the Queens campus, first semester freshmen are only eligible
for membership into a Greek organization if the organization has
been approved by the Office of Greek Life and if the national
organization permits it.
- Upperclassmen and transfer students are eligible to join a
Greek organization if they are registered as a full-time student
(minimum of 12 credits) and have a cumulative grade point average
of at least 2.25.
