The Speech and Hearing Club at St. John's University is
the university chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association and membership is open to all students. The purpose of the club is to disseminate to its members academic and professional information that will enhance their knowledge of the field of speech-language pathology and audiology. The activities of the club include guest speakers, fund-raising events, and annual parties for the clients enrolled in the Speech and Hearing Clinic at the University.


Organization's Mission
The purpose of this organization is to encourage professional interest among college and university students in the study of human communication sciences and disorders; to provide continuity to the dissemination of professional information and to provide a vehicle for student representation in matters of professional concern.
