Leadership Learning Community Movie
Series
Open only to the members of Dr. Barbara
Morris' English 1031 class.
This movie series will explore the presentation of African-American
life, art, and history within the context of film. The discussion
points will include film and civil rights, influence of the Harlem
Renaissance on presentation of African-Americans in film,
African-American history and films' impact on race relations.
The presentation and discussion of each film will take 3 common
hours.
