Romero Center • Friday, November 9 – Sunday, November 11, 2012

The Romero Center is an organization that provides groups of
students an opportunity to service in one of the nations poorest
communities, Camden, NJ. Participants will meet on Friday, November
9, 2012 at 3:00PM to depart for Camden. They will return on Sunday,
November 11, 2012 around 2PM. Students will work at a variety of
sites in small groups. Reflection will be facilitated and will
connect the experience to the Vincentian and Catholic Mission of
the University. Transportation, basic accommodations, and meals are

Student Affairs Saturday Service Series:
Each Saturday a group of students goes to either the Providence
House, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to transition
women who are homeless and recently released from prison back into
society, or St. John’s Bread & Life, a not-for-profit that
"brings food and assistance to the poor and accompany them on their
journey to wholeness by providing necessary services."
The group meets at 9a.m. at gate 6 and travels by car service. You
will return to campus by 4p.m. Transportation is included.
