In 2006, the Department of Student Life reached out to all
members of University Community for a Family Friend Program, which
asked any American families at St. John's that were interested in
sharing Thanksgiving with our international students. Fifty
(50) international students including twelve (12) in 2006 and
thirty-eight (38) in 2007 greatly enjoyed their very first
Thanksgiving with twenty (20) caring and lovely American
families including six (6) in 2006 and fourteen (14) in 2007.
These twenty (20) St. John's members significantly helped our
international students ease their nostalgia and experience American
traditions.

Please complete the registration form by Monday, November 10,
2008.
The matching process will start as soon as our Office receives
your registration form.
Confirmation and detailed information will then be e-mailed to you
as soon as the matching process completes on Thursday, November 20,
2008.
An Informational Session will take place on Tuesday, November
25, 2008. This will help you prepare to be a guest of in American
family home during this celebration.
