The University administration reserves
the right, whenever advisable, to change or modify its schedule of
tuition and fees. Every effort is made to maintain them at the
lowest possible level.
U.S. Federal Loans for American
American students who are interested in studying in Rome are
eligible to apply for federal graduate loans in the U.S. This
process should be started in January and can be started prior to
receiving an acceptance to St. John's University. The University
deadline for filing the FAFSA is Feb. 1 each year.
The following is a brief description of the financial aid
First, students must fill out a FAFSA form, this may be done
on-line. You must include the SJU Title IV Code: 002823.
The U.S. government will automatically notify SJU that you have
filed for loans. You should receive a copy of the form you filed in
the mail, you will be asked to confirm that all the information is
correct and to mail it back to the U.S. government agency.
Once you are admitted to St. John's and the university has
received your FAFSA (this comes from the U.S. agency), the
university will process your loan request.
St. John's will send you a package and a financial letter. Then
you will have to complete the necessary forms provided by the
financial aid office and return them via mail to the
