October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and St.
John’s will once again be honoring it in a special way. Show your
support as the University community participates in the Making
Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. Sponsored by the American
Cancer Society, this annual event gives hope to the countless
people affected by breast cancer and is a wonderful opportunity to
raise funds and awareness.
After mass and breakfast, a bus will leave the Staten Island campus
at 10 a.m. for Clove Lakes Park. To reserve your spot on the bus,
please contact Marge Tierney at (718) 390-4447 or e-mail tierneym@stjohns.edu.
