Off Campus, St. Nick's Men's Shelter
Students are offered a unique opportunity to help cooking
dinner, help set up the table and share a meal with a number of
homeless men. This experience helps the students to engage in
fellowship with the individuals. A short reflection follows after
the service on which students often realize the importance of
serving the needed. Transportation is provided. The shelter also
provides the opportunity for two male volunteers to stay overnight
and handle the morning shift next day, prepare breakfast as well as
signing the men out.
