Center for Labor and Employment Law - The Future of Labor Unions

September 16, 2010 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
St. John's Manhattan Campus, 101 Murray Street, New York, NY

The Center for Labor and Employment Law invites you to an evening of lively discourse as labor law expert Julius G. (“Jack”) Getman discusses his new book, Restoring the Power of Unions: It Takes a Movement (Yale University Press).

The culmination of more than 20 years of research, the book – Getman’s 10th − sets out new models and techniques for organizing labor and otherwise makes the case for Getman’s claim that unions must return to their historical roots as a social movement.
