The Office of Transnational Programs invites you to attend an information session on its:

Spring Break 2012 Travel Study Programs

Please join us for an information session on two exciting travel study programs we are offering over spring break (February 23, 2012 – March 2, 2012):

Dean’s Travel Study Program | Comparative Legal Systems: Scotland | Professors Margaret Valentine Turano and Jeffrey K. Walker
This new program is designed to expand short-term overseas study options for students who might not be able to do longer term foreign programs. The University subsidizes the program costs, making this a very affordable opportunity. For this inaugural year, students participating in this one-credit travel study course will visit Scotland, one of the world's most interesting comparative law jurisdictions.

Transactions in Emerging Markets: Moldova | Professors Christopher J. Borgen and Mark A. Meyer
This year, the Law School will again offer this 3-credit “travel” version of this course that examines the various issues faced by attorneys when representing clients in business transactions in emerging markets or developing countries. In addition to the regular classes at the Law School, students will travel with Professors Mark Meyer and Chris Borgen to Moldova (formerly part of the Soviet Union) for meetings with political leaders, diplomats and business leaders.
