The Center for Labor and Employment Law proudly presents its 2012 Distinguished Speaker Series:

State Financial Control Boards: Purpose, History and Future

Speaker
George J. Marlin
Director, Nassau Interim Finance Authority

Municipalities and counties throughout the nation are facing insolvency. Nassau County, New York, one of the wealthiest counties in the nation, is at the epicenter of this most compelling practical problem in public law. The role of County Executives, and the rights and responsibilities of public sector labor unions, are increasingly seen through the prism of oversight structures.

The Center for Labor and Employment Law is delighted to continue its Distinguished Speaker Series with this inaugural program for 2012.
