Opportunities for Middle Grades Students
Description: The current push to include college
and career readiness activities in K-12 schools affords meaningful
collaborative opportunities for universities. This paper presents
two programs, “The Career Institute” and “The College Immersion
Program,” both of which illustrate effective ways that universities
and schools can collaborate to provide college and career
opportunities for students in the middle grades.
