Adjunct Faculty Positions
Department of Chemistry
The Chemistry Department at St. John's University in Queens, NY
is inviting applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach
general and organic chemistry lectures and recitations. The
recitations involve managing small group discussions.
Qualifications
· The positions
require a PhD in chemistry. Applicants should demonstrate a
deep commitment to teaching and close interaction with students
from diverse backgrounds, a record of successful undergraduate
teaching, and experience with an online learning management system
and classroom response systems is a plus.
· This position
is subject to a comprehensive background screen, with employment
contingent upon satisfactory results. If access to a University
vehicle is required for the position, a DMV check for driving
record and valid driver’s license is also required.
