One Assistant Professor
Department of Criminal Justice and Legal
The Division of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies is seeking
applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the
American Bar Association-approved Legal Studies Program.
Candidate should be admitted to the bar of New York or of his or
her home state in good standing and have a thorough understanding
and familiarity with the role of legal assistants/paralegals in the
delivery of legal services. The position will be housed
at the Queens campus, with occasional teaching of courses at the
Staten Island campus, on an as needed basis.

substantive law areas, being able to teach practical skills such as
online legal research, document drafting and management of a modern
experience and proficiency in law office technology are
· Candidates must
show evidence of professional and scholarly activity.
· Experience in
litigation or administrative proceedings is very useful.
· This position
is subject to a comprehensive background screen, with employment
contingent upon satisfactory results. If access to a
University vehicle is required for the position, a DMV check for
driving record and valid driver’s license is also required.
