One Tenure-Track Position
The Department of Pharmacy Administration and Allied Health
Sciences invites applications for a 12-month, tenure-track position
as Assistant Professor – Industry Professional for the Radiologic
We are seeking applicants who have experience and research
interests in medical imaging. The successful candidate will
teach undergraduate Radiologic Sciences courses in the classroom
and laboratory setting.
· Instruct students in
undergraduate Radiologic Sciences courses and other undergraduate
courses as needed. Provide learning activities that stimulate
student involvement and encourage critical thinking.
· Participate in
program administrative activities including but not limited to
assessment, accreditation, admissions, progression, and evaluating
program policies and procedures.
· Assist in
experiential site assessment and development.
· Serves on university,
college, and departmental committees.
· Conduct independent
and collaborative research and scholarship.
· Engage in university,
community, and professional service.
professional competencies in the subject area and currency in
instructional methodologies through professional associations and
· Maintain membership
in professional organizations when applicable.
· May perform other
related tasks as assigned by the Department Chair and/or Dean.
· Graduate degree in a
related discipline is required.
· Must be a licensed
New York State Radiologic Technologist.
· Must possess and
maintain current and valid certification from the American Registry
of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
· Must have a minimum
of 2 years full-time experience (or its equivalent) as a
· Candidates must be
proficient in curriculum design, program administration,
evaluation, and instruction.
· Prior teaching
experience in an accredited radiologic sciences or radiologic
technology program is preferred.
· This position is
subject to a comprehensive background screen, with employment
contingent upon satisfactory results. If access to a University
vehicle is required for the position, a DMV check for driving
record and valid driver’s license is also required.
