We at the School of Risk Management, Insurance, and Actuarial Science (the SRM) are seeking the application of a distinguished faculty scholar qualified to hold our Clement’s Endowed Chair. The holder must be an internationally known scholar and is expected to (1) maintain superior academic achievement, (2) provide active leadership in advancing the SRM’s relationships with external parties, (3) actively cultivate a strong and growing bond between the SRM faculty and students, and (4) further the goal of increased professionalism in this academic discipline.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or DBA in Risk Management and Insurance (preferred), Actuarial Science or a closely related field.
This position is subject to a comprehensive background screen, with employment contingent upon satisfactory results. If access to a University vehicle is required for the position, a DMV check for driving record and valid driver’s license is also required.

The appointment is for Fall 2013. The applicant should submit a letter of application, a detailed resume and contact information for three referees from whom we may seek letters of recommendation.
