Job Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director/Director of Alumni Relations, this individual will cultivate relationships with alumni and liaison with the Dean and faculty of assigned school and related constituent groups. Additionally, this individual will serve as a liaison for student/alumni activity and provide specific support for recent alumni.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively build relationships with alumni from assigned school and identify ways to engage them back to alma mater
  • Create programming for constituent school/groups events based on historical/annual events or creating new ones and determine measures of success.
  • Develop specific strategy, including programming for recent graduates of the last decade (GOLD) alumni population
  • Organize COACH student/alumni events for various the constituent schools—either new or historical/annual events.
  • Create or maintain Alumni Boards for constituent school/group by keeping volunteers engaged or recruiting new volunteers.  Arrange and oversee regularly scheduled meetings, minutes, etc.
  • Maintain relationship with the Dean of the constituent school and assist with the creation of new opportunities for Alumni and students.
  • Track communication with alumni in addition to completing event summaries (attendee lists; financial breakdowns, etc.) and post-event publicity for the Web, on a timely basis.
  • Partner with corresponding Development officer concerning fund raising efforts and alumni communication for respective constituent school/groups.
  • Create fund raising opportunities for Alumni Relations in general and act as liaison with Development.
  • Assist other Constituent Specialists with their events and participate in general OAR/Development events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s/advanced degrees preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to speak publicly at events and /or make presentations.
  • Able to be self-motivated and creative.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook/email programs.
  • Possess stellar communication skills both verbally and in written form.
  • Minimum 3-5 years Advancement Industry Experience.

Salary
Salary commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and contingent upon the departmental budget.
