Job Description
Reporting to the Head Coach for Women's Softball, the Assistant
Coach will be responsible for the organization and administration
of a NCAA Division I program that competes in the BIG EAST
Conference. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
recruiting, team preparation, student-athlete welfare,
administrative responsibilities, community service, and academic
and student development. Candidate is expected to understand
and support the mission of St. John's University.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
- Prior DI coaching experience in the areas of hitting and
outfield preferred.
- Knowledge of and adherence to NCAA, BIG EAST rules as well as
University policy and contractual obligations.
- Excellent organization and time management skills are
necessary.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced
environment.
- Excellent written and oral skills.
- Applicants are in agreement of the University's commitment to

Salary
Salary commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and
contingent upon the departmental budget.
