Responsibilities

  • Extract and summarize institutional data, and produce relevant professional tables and charts as needed to support analytical studies/reports and data requests from internal and external constituencies.
  • Support the production and updating of standard institutional reports including the annual web-based and paper fact book.
  • Conduct ongoing environmental scans to identify and report on national, regional, local, and institutional trends.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the Department’s Web Site.
  • Coordinate related activities of the University-Wide Data Integrity Committee and serve on other related committees as required.
  • Assist with other institutional research projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or other related analytical field required.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • Must have great attention to detail, good organizational, verbal and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously and strong follow-through skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Familiarity with statistical and survey software, such as SPSS and SurveyPro.
  • Ability to work collegially with varied constituencies.
  • Service orientation, commitment to excellence and professional growth.

Note:  This is an entry level position.

Salary
Salary commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and contingent upon the departmental budget.
