Job Description
Provide an ongoing and ad hoc reporting structure to support enrollment management and marketing decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Determine research priorities, design research projects, direct day-to day research processes as well as report and present research findings and conclusion(which may include monitoring data collection; ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of individual studies; and managing market research suppliers).
  • Develop research studies in their entirety, from project inception through preparation and delivery of reports and presentations.
  • Act in a consultative role with Enrollment Management and Marketing & Communications to determine research problems and recommend research solutions. Determine critical success factors for developing and enhancing enrollment and communication strategies.
  • Compile and analyze student data to assist in setting and measuring the planning/projection process and refining the enrollment/communication strategy.
  • Gather vendor information, competitive bids and develop strategic alliances with key vendors as needed.
  • Provide top line summaries of research findings and recommendations and present to senior management, Enrollment Management, Marketing and other key personnel.

Qualifications

  • Seven to ten years of marketing research experience; Master’s degree/MBA in Market Research, Marketing, Business Administration or Statistics and have worked with marketing teams and outside partners; ideal experience will include work with both client and market research agency roles and a working knowledge of Banner and databases
  • Must have experience qualitative and quantitative market research and in competitive and market intelligence gathering, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and ability to bring the relevance to all areas of the institution.
  • Ability to conceptualize strategy based on research conclusions, understanding of enrollment and marketing communications, and excellent written/verbal communication skills will be necessary. The ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple projects, interface with senior management, and build teams is required.

Salary commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and contingent upon the departmental budget.
