Job Description
The Producer will assist in the strategic and technical direction of University Web site and manage the production/lifecycle of all Web-related initiatives. This candidate will serve as a liaison between faculty, administration and staff and will consult with content developers, creative services and communications.  The candidate will be responsible for incorporating the brand identity into the development of new sites/sitelets.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring brand integrity and global site strategy throughout the University Web sites by providing professional leadership, guidance and constructive feedback to project team members and departmental web content providers.
  • Coordinating site updates and content management, including photos, text and video.
  • Managing the online editorial development process.
  • Identifying all needed assets and resources to successfully meet client expectations.
  • Communicating with and regularly updating clients on project status (completions and/or issues).
  • Conferring with chairs/department heads to access new information to support enrollment management and student needs.
  • Assessing Web-user needs through research, and manage site user satisfaction.
  • Define metrics that will measure the success of Web initiatives and provide key stakeholders with regular reporting of web usage information and actionable data to drive development direction.
  • Analyzing and reporting traffic to this site. Validating all navigation and site changes through metrics and traffic analysis.

Qualifications

  • Five to ten (10) years experience required.
  • Strong leadership and strong customer relationship building required.
  • Project management skills required.
  • Hands-on execution, proven expertise in Web development, expert information architecture and Web design abilities, technical savvy.
  • Solid understanding of academic requirements and industry standards/best practices.
  • Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and familiar with Web-based development tools and techniques.
  • Must have proven experience developing and directing Web sites, as well as experience working with clients.

Salary
Salary commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and contingent upon the departmental budget.
