Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Graduate Admission, the Assistant
Director of International Admissions will assist with the
development of the annual regional recruitment plan designed to
increase international recruitment in targeted locations to meet
enrollment projections in select regions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for identifying colleges/agencies to be targeted
for student recruitment and to develop working relationships with
school officials in the selected region in order to facilitate
visits.
- Accountable for making recruitment presentations to groups of
prospective students/parents as well as following up after the
recruitment season has ended to ensure applications are submitted,
credentials are certified, and any student concerns are addressed
promptly.
- Complete credential evaluation on applications, implement
conversion strategies to assure timeliness of admissions actions,
and assist with online chats and the delivery of the international
orientation programs.
- Conduct an annual assessment of recruitment activities for each
region to document successes as well as identify missed
opportunities and develop recommendations for the next season.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree
preferred.
- Minimum two years experience in International Admissions,
Graduate Admissions and Recruitment required.
- Knowledge of International Education Systems required.
- Must possess technical skills in developing presentations and
reports.
- Must have excellent communication skills; knowledge of a
foreign language preferred.
- Must hold Permanent Residence or US Citizenship.
Salary
Salary commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and
contingent upon the departmental budget.
