Job Description
The primary responsibility of this part-time counselor will be to
counsel students and alumni on a wide range of career development
issues. Counseling includes review and critique of resumes
and cover letters, one-on-one job search strategies, long-range
career planning and crisis counseling. The candidate will
also participate in office workshops/orientations and assist other
staff members with coordinating student and employer outreach
programs.
Qualifications
- A Juris Doctor Degree or Master’s Degree is required.
- Experience in career counseling or legal recruiting is
required.
- Superior interpersonal and administrative skills and knowledge
of the legal profession is required.
Salary
Salary commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and
contingent upon the departmental budget.
The position is for 3 days a week and is not eligible for
benefits.
