Job Description
The Dr. Andrew J. Bartilucci Health Education Resource Center in
the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions is seeking an
individual with a background in library science to catalogue
reference materials in addition to other responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the catalogue system for all reference
material
- Catalogue all book and audiovisual acquisitions
- Work with department staff in maintaining records of references
in our database
- Assist College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions
faculty and students with online reference searches
- Communicate the acquisition of new references to the College’s
collection
- Assist with receptions area responsibilities
- Support the department and College with any additional tasks as
needed
Qualifications
- Proficient in cataloging reference material according to
library standards
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Significant library experience needed
- Degree in library sciences preferred but not required
Work Schedule
Monday-Thursday 2:30-7:30 p.m.
Salary
Salary commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and
contingent upon the departmental budget.
