Teacher Counselor
Teacher Counselors  (T/C’s) will be responsible for working with 2 classes’ of 8 students, one AM class and one PM class.  T/C’s will be trained in the 6R’s, literacy based teaching method to be used during the camp.  Lesson plans will be developed under the guidance of master teachers.  Education majors are preferred for this position, other are welcome to apply.

Athletic Assistants
Athletic assistants will be responsible for helping teach students the fundamentals and rules of a particular sport.  They will be under the supervision and guidance of a lead coach from the St. John's University athletic program.  Sports to be offered are basketball, volleyball, track and field, and soccer.

Monitors
Monitors are responsible for over-seeing the safety of the students from one activity to another.  Monitors will assist T/C’s or Coaches with in the activity to which they are assigned.  Monitors also serve as supervisors during the student’s breakfast and lunch breaks. 

Schedule
Camp hours: 8:30 a.m.- 3:45 p.m.
Camp dates: July 7- August 1

Training
Training dates: June 24- July 1
Training times: 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. (1 hour lunch break)
Training location: St. John Hall
