Did You Know?
If you are an Oxford member, please read below to learn about Oxford’s Enhanced Cancer Resources Benefit:

As an Oxford Member, you now have expanded access to a broad network of cancer treatment facilities through Cancer Resources Services (CRS).  The CRS network is made up of premier cancer centers across the United States including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo.  Cancer Resource Services’ emphasis is on the treatment of uncommon and complex cancers, however, these resources are available for Members with any type of cancer.  Members seeking care at these facilities will be able to take advantage of special negotiated rates for services.

If you are considering receiving care from a CRS participating facility, you must register with them in advance of your treatment to qualify for the special negotiated rates.  Oxford Members may call 1 (866) 936-6002 to register.  Please identify yourself as a member of St. John’s University with access to Cancer Resource Services.

Please remember that all other Oxford plan provisions and pre-certifications rules remain in place and must be followed as per your Certificate of Coverage.

To compliment this network of premier cancer centers, Oxford also offers Members with specific oncology diagnoses individualized case management through their Cancer Support Program.  Nurses work closely with physicians to support and reinforce treatment plans, emphasizing symptom management.  In addition, the Cancer Support Program provides resources available to all Members with cancer that include educational materials, support organization information and access to eCancerAnswers.com.  This Web site is available exclusively to Oxford Members and provides timely information on cancer risk and cancer care.
