Nature and Purpose of
Bedford Stuyvesant New Beginnings Charter School (BSNBCS)
is based on the premise that all students can reach the highest
point of their academic capacity by setting high standards and
expectations in all areas of our educational program. By

Tasks Available for
Assistance is needed in the classroom and after school.
During the school day, students may assist with reading skills,
math, and science by working one on one with the students. After
school homework help program meets 4:15 to 5. Students are able to
provide one-on-one homework assistance.
Students are able to serve Monday through Friday for the
following shifts:8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.10:00 a.m. to 12:00
noon1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.4:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Homework Help
Program)Please note: There is a four week requirement to serve
with BSNBCS. You must be able to commit to one shift, one day per
week for four weeks to serve at this
When you email the Office of AS-L to schedule your service
with BSNBCS, please indicate the four dates and times that you
would like to serve (e.g. Thursdays, 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, and 2/23 from
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon) so that we can schedule you for all four
weeks at one time.Please also specify the grade level that you
would like to serve with (K-5th grade).
