The church runs a weekly neighborhood supper program. Every Saturday evening, volunteers serve a meal to community members in need. Tasks available for studentsNeighborhood supper program: Assist with preparing a meal for approximately 100 community members in need. Tasks may include setting up, cooking, serving, cleaning up, or welcoming guests.Time requirements Shifts are available the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month, from 3:30-7:00 p.m., for 3-4 students per shift. Get off the bus at Union Turnpike/Queens Blvd, and transfer to the E train toward Manhattan. Take the E to the 53rd and Lexington stop. Transfer to the 6 train heading Uptown. Get off the train at the 86th Street station. Walk 2 blocks North on Lexington, then turn right and walk 2 ½ blocks. Walk into the church garden, and ring the bell for the church office.
