Kristina Caltabiano was born and raised in a suburb of Syracuse, in
upstate NY. She graduated from Bishop Ludden Jr. /Sr. High School
in 2007. Over the past six years, Kristina has accumulated hundreds
of service hours doing various activities. (She was an active "Big
Buddy" at a nationally recognized hospice bereavement camp for
young children who have lost a loved one. For many years Kristina
also assisted in teaching Religious Education to kindergarteners at
her local parish. Kristina swam competitively for twelve
years for her local YMCA, qualifying for and participating in NYS
championship competitions for 8 of those years. She was a team
captain her last 3 years. Kristina also swam on the varsity team
for her high school all four years and played JV Lacrosse. She has
also been an active lifeguard for four years. For the past 2
summers, Kristina has been employed as a lifeguard at Fairhaven
State Park. Kristina loves being at the beach all summer and enjoys
spending time with her family and friends. She plans on studying
her passion, Psychology and eventually pursuing a career in it.
