What is unique about the Ozanam Scholars Program?
As a Catholic, Vincentian and Metropolitan institution with a
service driven mission, St. John’s is located in the heart of
Queens, New York, which is the most diverse county in the nation.
This gives Ozanam Scholars the unique opportunity to serve people
of all different backgrounds, greatly enabling growth as a student
and as a person. Furthermore, the Ozanam Scholars Program is
committed to providing a “global” experience to its members. A
variety of opportunities to travel and serve within the nation and
abroad allows scholars to gain a worldwide perspective, which is
vital in any future endeavors.
