Dear Parents,
During your son or daughters time here at St. John's University,
they may make the decision to join a Greek organization. If they
start down this path you should be very proud of them, as well as
aware of a few things:
- The All Greek GPA is higher than the overall collegiate
GPA
- 85% of the Fortune 500 key executives are Greek.
- All but two Presidents since 1825 have been Greek
- Both women elected to the U.S. Supreme Court were sorority
members.
Greek organizations hold their members to high social and
academic standards… there are minimum GPAs and other campus
involvement requirements in order to join them. If your son or
daughter is interested in joining a Greek organization, please have
them stop into the Greek Life Office in the University Center (Room
