Trumbull Alumni Meet Accepted Students
March 30, 2009
St. John's University alumni gathered for an informal networking
reception at J. Porter’s Bar in Trumbull, CT before attending an
enrollment session at the Trumbull Marriott on Thursday, March 26,
2009.
The group of alumni spent some time getting to know one another—and
two attendees who had not seen each other in 28 years had the
opportunity to reconnect. They were present not only to get
together but to help accepted students in their college decision
process by sharing their own student experiences.
Both alumni and students enjoyed the evening and received helpful
insights from alumni speakers Paola Ochoa '07C and Paul Bailo
'86CBA, who shared their own student and alumni success
stories.
One of several regional enrollment receptions, the event was
designed to give high school seniors accepted to the University for
the fall, a glimpse into the value of a St. John's education and
degree.
Students learned that in addition to gaining an education, alumni
programming and networking is also an added value once they
graduate and embark on their careers.
