Professor Joseph Adolphe

Did an illustration "Overweight in a young child" for Contemporary Pediatrics, (October 2004), as well as illustrations for Pearson Education Publishers; published an article in Newsday on the "Commissioned, Non Commissioned" exhibit at Chung Cheng Art Gallery" (November 2004).

Published two review articles: "Pharmacotoxicology of Chemical and Biological Terrorism" in the American J. of Pharmaceutical Education and "Current Status and Validation of Alternative Testing Models in Preclinical Development" in Preclinica (2004).

Professor Emeritus Michael F. Capobianco
Mathematics and Computer Science
Had a Prologue published in a book of Spanish language poetry entitled, SE HACE LA LUZ, by the Venezuelan poet, Lucila Velasquez, who based her poems on Prof. Capobianco's theories of spacetime.

Participating in three international art exhibitions: "Surface Tension"  in Melbourne, Australia (December 2004), "2004-2005 International Works on Paper Invitational" at the University of Hawaii, Hilo (Fall 2004 and Spring 2005), and "Multiple Encounters" at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts in New Delhi (November 2004); the exhibit will continue to travel to various locations in India until the end of 2005 and  was organized by the Indian Printmakers Society.

Presented the seminar, "Cataloging Integrating Resources," at the XXXV Jornadas Mexicanas de Biblioteconomia, in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico, at the 2004 American Association of Law Libraries annual conference in Boston, and most recently at the IV Simposio Nacional de Bibliotecologia, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, where he also gave a presentation, sponsored by the Embassy of the United States, on the latest cataloging rule changes.
