Networking is not about asking for a job. Rather,
networking is about developing ongoing relationships with
professionals in your career field. A networking letter,
email or telephone call is where you may request an information
interview with someone working within your field of interest.
The purpose of this meeting, or information interview, is to gather
information, gain exposure and expand your network by compiling
additional referrals.
