Please contact us for specific program times, dates, and locations. Members of the professional staff are also available to address classes, clubs, and other organizations on matters concerning wellness, mental health, substance abuse, family and relationship issues and health care professions.

The Counseling Center provides a group of state-of-the-art tools to help in determining long-range career goals and diagnosing conditions which may be barriers to attaining those goals. These include:

  • Peterson's Guide to Graduate Schools: A complete database of every recognized graduate program in the United States and Canada.
  • Electronic Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (E-LASSI): A computerized measure that allows students to analyze their learning and study strategies and identify areas of strength and weakness in order to improve their academic performance.
  • Learning Disability Assessment: A comprehensive battery of tests administered to detect the presence of a learning disability.
    The Counseling Center provides applications for and administers all of the National Standardized Examinations for admission to graduate and professional schools. We also provide information and advisement to students who are contemplating professional school admission. In addition, we offer the CLEP and DANTES testing programs which award undergraduate college credit for life experience.
