Peer Educators

The SWELL Peer Education program is designed to open dialogue among students about personal wellness.  Wellness pertains to all of the choices we make that effect our personal well-being.  This includes how much sleep we get, what we eat, how we exercise, how we handle our stress levels, or if we choose to use or not use particular substances.

The goal of the SWELL Peer Education program is to provide the tools necessary for students to make informed decisions about their own wellness.

SWELL Peer Educators are energetic, passionate, fun students here to spread information to fellow students through special events and wellness workshops.  Their workshops are interactive, informative, inspirational, and even a little silly!  Peer Educators are trained to facilitate workshops for classes, student organizations, and residents and are up to date on all of the latest research and information on topics including alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, body image, nutrition, exercise, healthy relationships, and over-the-counter drugs.
